Shadowhawk is transported to Spawn Alley and asks the hero if he can cure him of the AIDS virus. As they are talking, Paul's dead brother Hojo shows up and offers to make Paul well if he will simply make a little deal. Hojo is revealed to be a demon and our heroes give battle but it is Trencher that shows up and finishes the monster off. Phoebe and Trencher tell Paul that dying from AIDS is his fate and he needs to learn to accept it. Trencher leaves a gun so Paul can take the easy way out but Shadowhawk decides to face his death like a man.
