The narrative follows Rac Shade, a fugitive from the dimension of Meta, as he pursues the American Scream—a psychic entity feeding on madness—across a surreal, nightmarish version of the United States. Written by Steve Niles with art by Chris Bachalo, the collection includes issues #1-6 of the series.
