Träskmannen är kvar på Balkan och träffar på Trasmonstret vilket visar sig vara Abigail Arcanes far, Gregori Arcane. Hans bror, Anton Arcane hittade Gregori i ett minfält där denne nästan dött. Anton opererade sedan den gravt skadade Gregori och så skapades Trasmonstret. Abigail Arcane, Matt Cable och Träskmannen flyger iväg från Balkan.
