In the 1963 Spanish-language romance comic Serie amor #150, "Nos unió el destino" tells the story of Ina, a young woman who moves to the South American country of Domingua after her parents' death to live with her uncle, the editor of the local paper Estoriza Times. When a group posing as revolutionaries—actually hired by a rival newspaper—destroy her uncle’s office and paper, Ina takes matters into her own hands, journeying to the capital to retrieve printing paper despite the dangers. There, she meets an American who agrees to drive her and the supplies on a perilous road trip back to Estoriza. The story, illustrated with heartfelt detail by Leone Frollo, captures a quiet moment of connection amid political unrest and personal courage.

Después de la muerte de sus padres, Ina vino al país sudamericano de Domingua para vivir con su tío, quien dirigía un periódico local, el Estoriza Times. Una banda de hombres que parecían ser revolucionarios, pero que en realidad fueron contratados por el propietario de un periódico rival, destruyó la oficina de su tío y su papel periódico. Sin su permiso, Ina va a la capital a traer papel periódico para salvar el periódico de su tío.
