Sergio Aragonés Groo the Wanderer #95
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeSergio Aragonés delivers a wonderfully chaotic cover for issue #95 of Groo the Wanderer, showing the bumbling barbarian wedged awkwardly between a series of wooden cages teeming with exotic animals — a giraffe, a leopard, a horned beast, and a wide-eyed bird among them — while alarmed, goggle-eyed onlookers crowd every corner of the frame. The story is titled "The Menagerie," and the cover does a perfect job of promising the kind of cheerful, densely packed mayhem that Aragonés and Mark Evanier do so well together. With colors by Tom Luth and lettering by Stan Sakai rounding out the creative team, this 1992 Epic Comics release is a delightful snapshot of one of humor comics' most consistently entertaining series.
