Sergio Aragonés Groo the Wanderer #63
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeSergio Aragonés' art is in full, gloriously chaotic form on this March 1990 issue, as Groo — grinning ear to ear with twin swords already swinging — crashes headlong into a crowned king and what appears to be a turbaned dignitary, sending the whole royal entourage tumbling in a heap of limbs and weaponry. The cover alone, rendered entirely by Aragonés himself, captures everything that makes this series so irresistible: beautifully detailed cartooning, perfectly timed slapstick energy, and a wanderer who never quite grasps why things keep going wrong. With a story titled "Real Estate," it's a safe bet that Groo's particular brand of disaster is about to befall some very unfortunate property.
