Issue #30 of Sergio Aragonés' Groo the Wanderer arrives in August 1987 with a cover that perfectly captures the cheerful chaos this series delivers: the big, blissfully grinning Groo stands triumphant atop a sprawling heap of panicked, armor-clad warriors, twin swords in hand, while his spotted canine companion Rufferto eyes the mayhem with characteristic wariness. Sergio Aragonés both wrote and drew this issue — and inked it himself — with colors by Tom Luth and lettering by Stan Sakai, a creative team firing on all cylinders. Titled "Rufferto II," this one promises plenty of the lovable wanderer's signature brand of well-intentioned catastrophe.
