Sergio Aragonés Groo the Wanderer #22
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeSergio Aragonés delivers a wonderfully absurd cover for issue #22, depicting the barrel-chested, dual-sword-wielding Groo planted in a wide fighting stance, looking thoroughly determined (and slightly cross-eyed) as a vast horde of enemies surges behind him in flames. It's a perfect snapshot of Groo's particular brand of chaos — one hapless wanderer against an army that probably has no idea what it's gotten itself into. With Aragonés writing and illustrating, Mark Evanier co-scripting, and Stan Sakai lettering, this December 1986 Epic Comics entry, "Groo and the Ambassador," has the full creative team firing on all cylinders.
