Sergio Aragonés packs every inch of this cover with gleeful mayhem — Groo stands alone in the middle of a vast open arena, dual swords raised, while an absolutely enormous mob of warriors, soldiers, and bewildered onlookers presses in from all sides, weapons flying everywhere. It's a perfect visual distillation of what makes this series so irresistible: one hapless swordsman, an impossible crowd, and pure comedic chaos rendered with Aragonés's endlessly detailed linework.
