Sergio Aragonés' Groo #2
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeSergio Aragonés and Mark Evanier continue "The Most Intelligent Man In The World" with this second installment from Dark Horse, and the cover by Aragonés sets a wonderfully chaotic tone — a startled, crown-wearing woman in blue stands at the center of a bubbling cauldron, flanked by a hunched witch clutching a snake-topped staff and two bewildered, wide-eyed figures who look like they've stumbled into something they absolutely shouldn't have. Skulls, candles, shelves of mysterious objects, and a spotted dog complete the delightfully cramped scene, all rendered in Aragonés' instantly recognizable loose, expressive linework. If this cover is any indication, the second chapter of this arc promises the same blend of slapstick and adventure that has always made Groo such a pleasure to read.
