“Berserker!”

In "Berserker!", the heroes of Battleworld face a grim turn when the new Spider-Woman arrives amidst chaos, only to be met with the brutal spectacle of the fallen Wasp’s body flung at them by the Wrecker and his allies. With Magneto leading the X-Men in a fierce clash against the attackers and Galactus revealing Doom’s treachery by expelling him from his world ship, the stakes rise as She-Hulk charges Doombase alone, driven by rage over the Wasp’s death—only to be overwhelmed. Written by Jim Shooter and brought to life by Mike Zeck’s dynamic art, with John Beatty’s inks and Christie Scheele’s colors, this pivotal issue sees the Avengers preparing to rescue She-Hulk while the X-Men watch Galactus, whose hunger for Battleworld resumes. The cover by Bob Layton captures the intensity of the moment.
