Diner waitress Vicky is looking for a man to take her away from the job, and handsome truck driver Ron isn't rich enough to qualify. George, a traveling salesman who claims his father owns the company, seems a more likely target. George gives Vicky a package he claims is her “wedding present,” then leaves. When he returns, he calls Vicky a sucker: the package is cash from a robbery he committed. Ron punches George and turns him over to the police, then kisses Vicky.
