The team behind this 2015 DC series clearly has a sense of humor — Dale Eaglesham's cover for Secret Six #3 depicts the group's misfit cast in full domestic chaos, with a panicked man in a red bathrobe, a skeletal figure in blue, a strange spotted creature, and several other wildly varied characters crammed into what appears to be a ransacked living room, the whole scene cheekily obscured by a giant "CENSORED" disc. Gail Simone's story is subtitled "The Nine Levels of Suburbia," which perfectly matches the cover's gleeful suggestion that this particular neighborhood has gone spectacularly off the rails. If you like your team books flavored with dark comedy and genuine unpredictability, this one's hard to resist.
