Secret Six #24

A masked, wide-brimmed-hat-wearing figure dominates this October 2010 cover, arms crossed and both revolvers drawn against a dusty red-rock backdrop — the Roman numeral "VI" etched into the gauntlet and a single glowing red eye beneath the bandana giving the image an eerie, otherworldly edge. Daniel LuVisi's painted cover work gives the whole scene a sun-scorched menace that pairs perfectly with the tagline "The Six-Guns Blazing!" Gail Simone and J. Calafiore's run on Secret Six consistently delivered morally complex thrills, and this Western-flavored chapter — titled "Unforgivable" — looks to be no exception.
