Secret Six #1
In "Villains United, One of Six: And Empires in Their Purpose," the Secret Six make a desperate bid for freedom, defying Mockingbird’s orders to raid a Society safehouse—only to be cornered by a deadly ultimatum. With their families at risk, they agree to a suicide mission against the Society, gambling everything on survival or death. Gail Simone’s sharp writing and Dale Eaglesham’s dynamic art bring the team’s fractured loyalty to life, while J. G. Jones’s cover captures the storm of betrayal and defiance.

Before that happens, Catman discovers it was Deadshot who killed his lions, Scandal is gay, and not only is Cheshire carrying Catman's child, but she has betrayed them to the Society. The Society responds by sending an army of supervillains to kill the Six as well as kidnapping Pariah and Lady Quark.
