The New 52 relaunch of Secret Six arrives with a genuinely clever cover by Dale Eaglesham — a snakes-and-ladders game board whose squares spell out "What Is The Secret," with serpents weaving across the tiles and the faces of several mysterious characters peering out from the corners. That lurking, oversized fist or knuckle dominating the center adds a note of menace to what might otherwise seem like a playful puzzle. Gail Simone returns to the title alongside artists Ken Lashley, Drew Geraci, and colorist Jason Wright, promising the kind of sharp, unpredictable team dynamics that made this series so compelling.
