Secret Hearts #82
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeDC's long-running romance anthology was firing on all cylinders in 1962, and this issue of Secret Hearts delivers a cover dripping with emotional tension. Tony Abruzzo's pencils and John Romita's inks frame a charged three-way moment: a worried blonde woman in yellow pleads with a dark-suited young man named Jed, while the brooding, dark-haired Julia dominates the right half of the composition in cool blue shadow — her downcast eyes suggesting she already knows the answer to the question hanging in the air. It's a beautifully composed snapshot of romantic conflict, and the featured story "Another Face — Another Love" promises more of the heartfelt drama that made Secret Hearts a staple of the DC romance line.
