Secret Avengers #4

Part four of Ed Brubaker's opening arc arrives with a striking Marko Djurdjević cover that dominates with two faces locked in close quarters — Steve Rogers, stern and resolute in his white-and-blue Secret Avengers uniform, loomed over by the gold-and-red helmet of Nova against a deep cosmic backdrop. The composition feels simultaneously intimate and vast, hinting at tension between Earth-bound heroism and something far out in the stars. Mike Deodato Jr. and colorist Rain Beredo bring that same atmospheric intensity to the interior pages, making this a satisfying close to the "Secret Histories" story.
