Sea of Stars #5

The fifth chapter of Image's Sea of Stars arrives with a cover as wild and densely layered as deep space itself — a pale, wide-eyed figure clutches something close to their chest, surrounded by a looming cast of bizarre alien beings, including a massive tusked creature draped in gold jewelry and a towering insectoid figure, all set against a dreamy purple sky of floating orbs. Stephen Green's linework crackles with strange energy, and Rico Renzi's colors push the whole scene into something beautifully otherworldly. Jason Aaron and Dennis Hallum's "Lost in the Wild Heavens" continues to look like one of 2019's most imaginatively strange cosmic adventures.
