Scooby-Doo #93

Shaggy's lament — "Zoinks! I lost my lunch!" — says it all on this cheerful 2005 DC entry, as a towering explosion of food (ham, fish, cheese, vegetables, and more) spirals into the air between him and a very eager, tongue-wagging Scooby-Doo, who helpfully clarifies, "Rou rean ry runch!" The cover pencils by Robert Pope and inks by Dave Hunt give the whole chaotic scene a wonderfully bouncy energy that captures the duo's eternal, food-obsessed dynamic. Inside, writer Frank Strom and artist Joe Staton take the gang through "Par for the Course" — whatever's on the green, you can bet Scooby and Shaggy have snacks on the mind.
