Daphne strolls through a shadowy, cobblestoned street admiring the "old-fashioned" scenery while a very nervous Scooby-Doo clearly knows better — the alleyways are absolutely crawling with green, grasping ghosts lurking on rooftops, under bridges, and around every corner. The cover dialogue says it all: she finds it darling, he finds it terrifying, and that delightful contrast sets up "Land-Grabbing Ghosts" perfectly. Joe Staton and Dave Hunt deliver a wonderfully spooky urban atmosphere that should make this 2003 issue a fun pick for any Scooby fan.
