Scooby-Doo #152
Something is definitely "fishy" at the beach in Scooby-Doo #152 (March 2010), where the cover by Vince DePorter throws the whole Mystery Inc. gang into a wild water-skiing pyramid — Daphne balancing on top, Fred in the middle, Velma and Shaggy on the sides — while a scaly, spiky sea creature has muscled its way into the formation and a very alarmed Scooby-Doo scrambles on top of it all. The "Chills and Spills!" banner captures the mix of sun-soaked fun and creature-feature unease perfectly, setting up the interior story "Sleeper's Peepers" from writer Terrance Griep and artist Leo Batic. A cheerful, lively issue that shows DC's all-ages Scooby title at its most playfully chaotic.
