Scooby Apocalypse #12

The whole gang faces something daunting in this 2017 chapter of DC's gritty reimagining — the cover by Howard Porter plants Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy, and Scooby-Doo against a smoke-choked, burning cityscape as a lone silhouetted figure looms atop a towering building above them. Velma points urgently skyward while Scooby and Shaggy press close together, the group's battle-worn expressions and ruined urban surroundings making clear this is a very different Mystery Inc. than the one you remember. With "Family Reunion" as the story title and Giffen and DeMatteis at the helm, issue #12 promises the sharp character dynamics and post-apocalyptic tension that have defined this series.
