This volume was launched in June 2024 as a direct continuation of Steve Orlando's acclaimed earlier Scarlet Witch ongoing, which had begun in 2023 with superstar artist Sara Pichelli before transitioning to a rotating art team. For this new volume, Marvel paired Orlando with Jacopo Camagni — previously known for his work on X-Men: Red and the Italian fantasy series Nomen Omen — whose background in depicting magic in urban settings made him a considered editorial choice for Wanda's world. Russell Dauterman, who had provided covers throughout the run, continued in that role on issue #4, with Martin Coccolo providing the Stormbreakers variant cover. Editor Alanna Smith shepherded the issue through production, with lettering by Ariana Maher and colors by Frank William, the same core crew that had anchored the series from its relaunch.
