Alex Maleev's stark, red-and-white cover for this Jinxworld series makes an immediate impression: Scarlet herself is rendered as a bold crimson silhouette, a rifle slung across her shoulders and a handgun at her side, with a city bridge etched into the negative space of her figure. The "xo" graffiti and cursive text layered across her form give the image a street-art energy that feels both personal and defiant. Brian Michael Bendis and Maleev bring the same atmospheric confidence here that made their earlier collaborations so compelling.
