Clayton Crain's cover for this 2015 Image series delivers something genuinely arresting: a luminous, skeletal figure radiates blinding white energy at the center of the composition, its translucent form suspended amid a constellation of floating, reflective orbs — each one cradling a different human face staring outward with an unsettling calm. The haunting interplay of pale light and sickly green shadow gives the whole image a sense of enormous, barely contained power. Todd McFarlane and Brian Holguin's Savior has always leaned into big spiritual and supernatural themes, and this seventh issue's cover puts that tension front and center in striking fashion.
