Saga #47

Fiona Staples' cover for Saga #47 puts a striking, enigmatic figure front and center — a seated figure in vivid red, her face replaced by a geometric crystal mask, casually raising an ornate golden pistol while lounging on a checkered floor. There's an unsettling elegance to the image, equal parts menace and poise, that speaks to everything Brian K. Vaughan and Staples do so well with this series. Chapter Forty-Seven looks to be another beautifully strange entry in one of 2017's most compelling ongoing stories.
