Sad Sack Laugh Special #37

Oct 1967 · Harvey · 0.25 USD
“The Pot Man”

In "The Pot Man," Sad Sack’s life takes a wild turn when a lucky (or unlucky) baseball to the head transforms him into a genius—leading to a rapid rise from soldier to Brigadier General and eventually the presidency. Written, drawn, and inked by Fred Rhoads, this classic 1967 Harvey Comics tale follows the absurd rise and fall of a man whose intellect is as fleeting as a punchline. The cover by George Baker captures the zany spirit of the story, a 25-cent slice of mid-century humor that’s equal parts satire and slapstick.
