Sad Sack Comics #76

Harvey's beloved everyman soldier is back in this November 1957 issue, and the cover by George Baker says it all — Sad Sack is lugging an enormous red crate labeled "T.N.T. DO NOT DROP" while a snarling yellow dog nips at his heels, sending stars flying as chaos ensues. It's the kind of perfectly timed slapstick that made this series a favorite, capturing that signature mix of bad luck and good humor.
