Sad Sack Comics #191
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeHarvey's long-running army comedy series delivers another helping of hapless military misfortune in this 1967 issue, cover by George Baker. The cover says it all: poor Sad Sack has walked straight into a "Danger — Falling Rocks" zone, taking a resounding "BOING" to the noggin from a bouncing helmet while his fellow soldiers and a little dog named Mutsy look on from the rubble around him. It's the kind of cheerfully chaotic slapstick that made this series "Loved by Millions," and Baker's loose, expressive linework makes every star-and-spark flying off Sad Sack's dazed head feel perfectly earned.
