Sad Sack Comics #165
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freePoor Sad Sack just can't catch a break — on George Baker's cover for issue #165, our hapless soldier takes a resounding "WHACK" from a falling first aid kit, complete with stars bursting and his loyal pup Mutsy scampering nearby, while parachutes, a jet, and a bemused fellow soldier look on in the background. It's a wonderfully silly snapshot of military misfortune that made this Harvey series "loved by millions" for good reason. A charming 1965 entry in one of comics' most endearingly unlucky characters.
