Harvey's long-running army comedy is in fine form with this April 1965 issue, cover art by George Baker. The cover captures a wonderfully chaotic scene: our hapless soldier Sad Sack goes flying — apparently booted by an unseen force — while a sergeant smugly consults a voodoo book next to a pin-stuck doll, a spiky red creature skitters nearby, and poor Muttsy the dog gets tangled up in the mayhem below. It's the kind of absurd, good-natured military humor that earned Sad Sack its "Loved by Millions" tagline, and this issue's story, "Treasure Hunt," promises more of the same cheerful misadventure.
