Harvey Comics' long-running army humor series delivers another dose of slapstick misery in this February 1962 issue. George Baker's cover shows the hapless Sad Sack heaving a massive drum of motor oil while a purple-hued, dazed fellow soldier goes spinning off in a chaotic spiral — complete with a little dog tagged "Nutsy" caught up in the mayhem below. It's the kind of cheerfully calamitous scene that made Sad Sack a staple of mid-century comics, and this installment looks like it's keeping that tradition in fine, fumbling form.
