Sabrina, the Teenage Witch #40
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeA sunny 1977 beach outing gets a magical twist in this delightful issue of Sabrina, The Teen-Age Witch. The cover, penciled by Stan Goldberg and inked by Jon D'Agostino, shows Sabrina declaring to Salem, "I'll use my magic to make everyone happy!" — and sure enough, a restrictive "NO" beach sign (banning surfing, frisbees, dancing, and more) gives way in the bottom panel to a glowing "YES" sign permitting all the same fun, with a satisfied Sabrina cradling Salem amid the suddenly cheerful beachgoers. It's a warm, witty snapshot of Sabrina's good-natured spellcasting that captures exactly why this series charmed readers throughout the decade.
