The plot follows master detective Simon Archard and his assistant Emma Bishop as they investigate the mysterious death of a wealthy industrialist in the fog-shrouded city of Partington, a case that draws them into a web of intrigue and supernatural elements. Written by Mark Waid with art by Butch Guice, this edition presents the first six issues of the series in a single trade paperback format.
