A crowd of costumed young heroes surges forward in Kris Anka's energetic cover for this third chapter of "Cannon Fodder" — a red-suited figure leads the charge with one hand thrust skyward, flanked by a red-haired hero in a mask, a winged blonde, a caped young man, and several others, while a looming dark creature with horns dominates the background. Rainbow Rowell's run on Runaways continues to deliver that distinctive mix of scrappy teamwork and genuine heart. With Walden Wong's inks and Dee Cunniffe's colors giving the whole scene a bright, kinetic pop, this 2020 issue is a satisfying entry in one of Marvel's most warmly regarded ensemble books.
