Runaways #26

There's something endearingly chaotic about this Kris Anka cover for Runaways #26 — an overloaded orange van barrels through a dusky landscape, its roof practically buckling under a tower of labeled moving boxes, a large canister, a purple stuffed animal, electronics, and what appears to be a frog-like creature trailing pink smoke, all lashed down with increasingly optimistic rope. A young woman leans out the driver's window, flashlight in hand, keeping watch as the packed interior hints at even more cargo crammed inside. Writer Rainbow Rowell and artist Andrés Genolet continue "Cannon Fodder Pt. II" with this chapter that already promises motion, mayhem, and the particular brand of found-family energy that makes this series such a treat.
