Rulah learns of a young doctor's plan to establish a clinic in her jungle, and welcomes the venture—until Saber, her loyal companion, arrives wounded and bearing signs of foul play. Now the jungle goddess must uncover the sinister truth behind the clinic's real purpose before an innocent life is lost to the schemes lurking in its shadows.
In a poor village, a ragged beggar boy named Osa risks everything to save the beautiful Princess Hermio from a pack of starving dogs, only to be spurned by her father the Sultan—but a magical tree genie grants him an unexpected second chance by transforming him into a loyal hound at her side. Now bound to the princess in a new form, Osa must navigate the perils of court intrigue, a jealous suitor, and a father who despises the mysterious beast, all while watching the woman he loves drift toward a fate she never chose.
When a New York dress designer arrives in the African jungle seeking inspiration for her flagging fashion line, she finds far more than she bargained for—including Rulah, the jungle goddess, and a deadly leopard that becomes the muse for her breakthrough primitive collection. As Rulah hosts an elaborate fashion show for the world's elite designers, she senses trouble brewing beneath the glamorous facade, and suspects that not everyone in her jungle has honest intentions. When ambition and greed collide in the wilderness, Rulah must navigate treachery as deadly as any predator stalking the trees.
