Two small black silhouettes — one in a fedora, one in a cape — run toward a massive red inkblot that looms across the pale cover like a wound or a skull, dwarfing them completely. It's a quietly unsettling image that captures the series' noir-drenched atmosphere in a single, stripped-down composition. Tom King, Jorge Fornés, and Dave Stewart continue their mature-readers DC Black Label series with "Chapter Two," and if this cover is any indication, the tension is only deepening.
