Charlton's long-running law-and-order series delivers another tense chapter with this 1957 entry, featuring a cover by Dick Giordano that puts the action front and center: a gun-toting figure in dark clothes scales the exterior of a brick building, kicking through a window while a startled man inside reacts to the intrusion. A clipped editorial blurb at the bottom praises the series as "a tribute to all the police departments of the country," giving the whole package a civic pride that was very much of its era. With Joe Gill writing and Bill Molno on interior art, "The Tiger's Claws" promises the kind of street-level crime drama that made Rookie Cop a reliable ten-cent thrill.
