Ann thinks the murdered girl's little brother can help prove that Jimmy is innocent. They find Tommy has gone to see Mother Goose again. Tommy comments that it is just a man dressed up as Mother Goose and he recognizes him as a man who was in their café. After Tommy pulls off his wig and false nose, the man tries to escape. But he is injured in a fall. After a confession from him, Jimmy is in the clear.
