Romeo #12 September 1970
In "Forever My Love...", Jan is drawn back to memories stirred by a simple bouquet of lilies, leading her to revisit a mysterious seaside cottage and the enigmatic Ed, whose connection to the Sea Horse—a place he claims is new—feels strangely timeless. The story unfolds with quiet wonder, blending past and present as secrets about a century-old life and a botanical miracle tied to the lilies begin to surface. Ron Delaney’s expressive art brings the emotional core to life, while Tony Hudson’s evocative cover captures the story’s haunting, dreamlike tone.

When Jan sees some lilies, she is reminded of the past. When visiting her aunt, she had heard a call for help and followed the calls, where she met Ed and his great aunt, who had slipped and fallen. Jan returned often to see Ed and, although they loved each other, she found it odd that Ed referred to the Sea Horse as a new place though it had been there for years. Mrs. Frampton revealed that she was a botanist who had discovered the secret to prevent aging based on the lilies there. Ed was actually her assistant and they had lived there together for a century.
