A woman named Sherry delays her engagement to a man named Ed because she suspects he is seeing someone else. In a second story, a woman in a yellow dress meets a man costumed as a knight at a masquerade ball; after the event, she searches for him by renting a horse in town, and discovers he is actually a doctor she meets again, suggesting dreams and reality have converged.
