This is an anthology issue containing at least three stories. "They Called Me: Annie of the Everglades" follows a woman who finds herself stranded in the Florida swamps during a storm and discovers a new life there with wonderful people, eventually meeting a charming fellow who wins her heart. Another story depicts Sally, who becomes involved in a dangerous situation when her boyfriend Peter threatens her life if she doesn't attend his wife's birthday dinner, leading Sally to escape and eventually find refuge with him waiting for her. A third story involves a young woman named Jaynie who, while on an outing with a boy named Bobby and his friend Jim (secretly a police officer), becomes caught up in a dangerous encounter with thieves in the woods.
