Romantic Marriage #9
In "There's Room for Three," a 1952 Ziff-Davis gem, Sy Barry’s expressive art and Bernard Sachs’s sharp inking bring to life the quiet tension of a marriage tested by distance and desire. When traveling salesman Les plans to settle down by buying a hardware store, his wife Ginny resists—only to find herself caught between loyalty and loneliness, leading to a moment of vulnerability that tests their bond. The story unfolds with emotional honesty, capturing the fragile balance of love and compromise.
