This anthology issue contains three romantic stories. "The Lovers" recounts the historical tale of Peter Abelard and Heloise in 11th-century France, following their secret marriage and separation when Abelard is attacked by Fulbert's men, their eventual correspondence, and their lasting legacy as inspiration to lovers throughout history. An earlier story (visible in the second page shown) follows Brad, Cathy, Dick Whitehead, and Marcia through a romantic entanglement involving a military aircraft test flight, with Brad ultimately accepting Dick's success and promising to attend a company party. "His Kind of Love" depicts Dusty Cameron, a Wyoming insurance representative, meeting Charles Larner at high elevation and directing him to David Lloyd's insurance office, suggesting a chance encounter that may lead to unexpected romance.
