In "No Sweethearts for a Sailor," a woman named Phyllis Parker makes a desperate choice to enter into a relationship with a sailor to protect her heart from romantic heartbreak. When the sailor tries to coerce her into boarding a boat and abandoning her life, she refuses, and he becomes enraged, leading to a confrontation.
