"Tone Down That Glamor!" follows a woman named Lucia who works with a man named Bob on interior design projects. When Bob begins ignoring her romantic advances, Lucia devises a scheme to make herself less glamorous and approachable, believing her overly polished appearance intimidates men. After implementing this strategy, Lucia successfully captures Bob's attention; however, Bob later reveals he had been deliberately distancing himself because he was already engaged to another woman back home. The story concludes with Lucia learning that sincere, unaffected women—rather than glamorous ones—are the type men truly choose for marriage, and she accepts this lesson gracefully.
