Having squandered his own money on a playboy lifestyle, his aunt agrees to leave him all her money on the condition that he marries a girl she has chosen within a week. Not wanting to get married, but needing the money, Jimmy offers an entertainer at the night club five percent of the inheritance to pretend to be his fiancee so he won't have to marry the girl his aunt has picked out. However, when he meets the girl chosen by his aunt, he is smitten with her beauty.
