Eve, a beautiful but spoiled socialite, has men at her beck and call. She’s attracted to lawyer Greg, but when he won’t fix a speeding ticket, she drives away recklessly and crashes her auto. Plastic surgery restores her face but she’s insecure and withdraws from social life. Greg says he loves her but she needs a purpose in life. Not wanting to be a “parasite” any longer, Eve trains to be a secretary and is hired by Greg, who will also marry her.
